Join us as we host natural horsemanship trainer Steve Boyles at our stable, December 4 & 5, for lessons in creating more physically and mentally engaged horses, through ground work
GEI has invited horsemanship clinician Steve Boyles to work with us and we are opening the opportunity to outside riders.
Steve runs Steve Boyles Horsemanship, and specializes in colt starting, problem solving, refinement techniques, trail training and liberty work. He is a fascinating person in and out of the saddle. This is our first time hosting a clinic with Steve but we think clinic participants will find him engaging and entertaining, as he helps us refine our horse handling skills and create better relationships with our horses.
The clinic will take place December 4&5, at our stable, 2855 Day Rd, Gilroy, CA, 95020. Work will be done in a group setting, in our covered arena. Bring a lunch and water. Auditors should plan to bring a chair. In order to comply with COVID restrictions, you must call to reserve a space, even as an auditor and spaces are limited.
Steve’s Bio: Steve Boyles has been around horses his whole life, helping his father as a young boy train, show and sell horses in South Carolina. Even as a child Steve had an amazing ability to handle and gentle the “difficult horses”. Steve’s passion for horses continued throughout his adult life and he has trained with top Natural Horsemanship clinicians around the world to develop his own unique style. Steve focuses on working with the horse to establish a mutual willing partnership and respect. He believes in establishing a very solid foundation on the ground and at liberty, to have a willing and able partner under saddle. Steve also has a passion for wild horses and the American Mustang and has spent many hours studying and learning from this amazing breed. He has trained countless wild horses to become amazing riding horses and companions.
