Marsha Ayers is the business manager for Global Equestrian Imports. She’s been working with Allida, in some form or another, since 2003. Marsha is now based in Geneva, Switzerland, where she holds down the European side of the operation. She uses the same skills she uses as a project manager to keep the process of buying and shipping horses internationally, running smoothly.
Marsha has been in love with horses as long as she can remember. Her first instructor was one of the head wranglers at John Wayne’s ranch. She credits him with instilling her balanced seat and teaching her to be confident in the saddle. In her early 20’s she accidentally acquired a Friesian and decided to learn dressage. The relationship with the Friesian didn’t last long but her love of dressage turned into a lifetime affair. Marsha lives with her husband and two cats, and leases a 7-year-old, Hanoverian gelding. She sees the irony in selling horses for a living but not owning one and occasionally thinks about changing that.
