Consignment Sales

Selling a horse can be time consuming and exhausting.

We can help.

We offer a full-service, sale barn program to help you get your dressage horse sold, for the best price, to the best home, worry-free.

We are small but mighty. Global Equestrian Imports’ boutique sales barn gets big results. Our sale horse prices range between $20,000->100,000. Many sell without advertising on equine sale sites, and more than 80% of our sales are completed in under 45-days. Our smaller size allows us to offer more personalized programs and service. When you consign a horse to our sales barn, it’s not just a number. Your horse will be taken care of like one of our own.

We take care of the details so you can get the most out of your sale, with the least amount of stress including:

How does it work?

We start with an in person evaluation. We talk about your goals for the sale and if we think we can meet your needs. Together we come up with plan and a budget for marketing your horse, which will be memorialized in a contract.

We get to work preparing your horse for sale — arranging for x-rays, video, photos, and getting your horse in top physical condition. All sales horses must remain in full training at our facility.

You and your horse will have access to all our barn’s amenities. Your horse will enjoy seven day a week turn out, 24-hour access to hay, and supplemental feeding, twice daily.

Advertising based on your budget. We advertise through our network of professionals, sales websites, on our own website and social media. We promptly respond to potential buyers.

Good communication is key to a good relationship. We will frequently update you on your horse’s training, marketing, and general well-being. You are also invited to visit us or give us a call when you have questions.

Our commission is the reward for all of our hard work. When your horse sells, we charge a percentage-based commission, usually between 10-20%.

We respect your budget. When you commit to investing in the sale of your horse, we commit to seeking a good return on your investment. When your horse is with us, you remain responsible for any out of pocket expenses such as board, training, veterinary care, shoeing, show costs, body clipping, etc. We in turn, make the most of your budget.
